Mendtronix Projector Lamp Warranty and Return Policy

Mendtronix customers agree to the following terms when purchasing projector lamps:

  • All items are guaranteed to be in working order when received by the customer.
  • The customer must inspect the lamp upon arrival and install the lamp to confirm the item is in working order.
  • Cobalt projector lamps include a 200 day warranty starting on shipping date.  OEM projector lamps have brand-specific warranties (inquire for detail).
  • Replacement lamps will be shipped once returned lamp is received and inspected.
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained before returning any item (set this up with your National Account Manager)
  • Warranty does not cover shipping costs.  Shipping costs of the original sale of the lamp and return shipping of a defective lamp are the customer’s responsibility.

 

Did You Receive a Non-Working or Defective Projector Lamp?
  • The first thing you should do is:  re-install the lamp, reset lamp timer and verify cover has been replaced and screwed down.  This sometimes is the cause of a lamp not working.
  • If your lamp still does not work, then contact Mendtronix immediately at 800.789.9820 x1 or at sales@mendtronix.com to receive an RMA.
  • Ship the lamp back within 5 days of receiving the RMA.  If you fail to send within 5 days of receiving the RMA, then your return will be refused.
  • Item must be in original, undamaged packaging without any markings.  Failure will result in a $20 restocking fee.
  • When returning the lamp double-box the lamp with packing material the same way you received it.  Include packing material in between the lamp’s original box and the shipping box.
  • Mendtronix is not responsible for any damage during shipping.
  • Always request a tracking number from your shipping company so the package can be tracked in case it is lost.
  • Write the RMA number on the shipping box or your returned lamp will be refused.
  • Mendtronix team members will inspect the returned lamp and send a replacement to you.  If the returned product works properly then a $20 technician fee will be charged and your lamp will be returned back to you (return shipping will also be charged).
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping fees to Mendtronix.
  • If a new lamp is needed before a replacement can be shipped, then please place a new order.  A refund will be issued instead of a replacement.
Was Your Lamp Ordered in Error?
  • A refund can be issued if the lamp is unused and returned within 30 days from shipping date in original, unmarked packaging.
  • Contact Mendtronix immediately at 800.789.9820 x1 or at sales@mendtronix.com to receive an RMA.
  • Lamp must be returned within 5 days of receiving the RMA for a refund.
  • Customer pays all return shipping costs.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • A $20 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund if the box is damaged or marked.
  • After 30 days of original purchase no refunds are offered.

 

Was Your Lamp Damaged in Transit?
  • Contact Mendtronix within 5 days of receiving damaged lamp at 800.789.9820 x1 or at sales@mendtronix.com to get an RMA and so a claim can be filed with the shipping company.
  • If customer fails to contact Mendtronix within 5 days of receiving damaged lamp, then claims cannot be submitted and no new lamp will be provided.
  • Mendtronix will provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • Ship the lamp back within 5 days of receiving the RMA.  If you fail to send within 5 days of receiving the RMA, then your return will be refused.
  • When returning the lamp double-box the lamp with packing material the same way you received it.  Include packing material in between the lamp’s original box and the shipping box.
  • Always request a tracking number from your shipping company so the package can be tracked in case it is lost.

Did We Make a Mistake and Sent You the Wrong Lamp?
  • Contact Mendtronix within 5 days of receiving incorrect lamp at 800.789.9820 x1 or at sales@mendtronix.com to get an RMA.
  • If customer fails to contact Mendtronix within 5 days of receiving then incorrect lamp, then claims cannot be submitted and no new lamp will be provided.
  • Mendtronix will provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • Lamp must be unused and returned in original, unmarked packaging.
  • A $20 restocking fee will be charged if the box is damaged or marked.
  • Ship the lamp back within 5 days of receiving the RMA.  If you fail to send within 5 days of receiving the RMA, then your return will be refused.
  • When returning the lamp double-box the lamp with packing material the same way you received it.  Include packing material in between the lamp’s original box and the shipping box.

  • If a new lamp is needed before a replacement can be shipped, then please place a new order.  A refund will be issued instead of a replacement.

 

Did You Not Receive the Lamp You Ordered?
  • Contact Mendtronix immediately if you did not receive your package when you expect it.  Your can reach your National Account Manager at 800.789.9820 x1 or at sales@mendtronix.com.
  • Claims for a lost package cannot be submitted after 3 business days past the expected delivery date.
  • Mendtronix will provide you a tracking number with the shipper of record.  We encourage you to track delivery so you can be alerted if the package is likely not to be delivered as expected.
  • Mendtronix will contact the shipper and coordinate delivery of item or will file a claim and arrange for a new lamp to be shipped.

 

Your Lamp Warranty Does Not Include the Following:
  • Shipping expenses
  • Improper installation including damages incurred while attempting installation
  • Installation or labor costs
  • Lamps damaged by projector malfunction
  • Damage due to abuse, lightning or acts of nature
  • Misuse, electrical stress or power surges
  • Loss of use
  • Lost revenue or profits
